I don't understand

"As long as someone is able to identify the teacher, and it is an untrue statement that affects his reputation or livelihood, then the student is liable," lawyer Doris Chia of Harry Elias and Partners was quoted as saying in the Straits Times.



1. If the teacher's name is not mentioned, how can the teacher be identified.
2. How can someone identify the teacher if the statement written in the blog is untrue? (if untrue mean it is not that particular teacher)
3. If it is untrue, why care?
4. If it is true, then accept it.
5. Secondary school students are getting more and more immoral in this information age.
